Amy Winehouse is dead – Beware of Video Scams

Singer Amy Winehouse was found dead today in her London home. She was only 27 years old. It only took these not so nice people (scammers) 4 hours after her death to come up with a Facebook scam. Be careful and do not click on any links or videos purporting to show you a video of Amy Winehouse hours before her death. The message(s) you may see on your Facebook wall are:

  • Leaked Video!! Amy Winehouse on Crack hours before death. Amy Winehouse getting high on crack just hours before she died
  • Amy Winehouse death pictures & video (18+ only, contains drug use)
  • Amy Winehouse Death film Leaked Attention: Real Video. Leaked Video of Miss Amy Winehouse Death – Watch Now!
  • Miss Amy Winehouse DEATH film LEAKED Attention: Real Video
  • Amy Winehouse Night Before Death Video
  • SHOCKING – Amy Winehouse’s Final Minutes
  • Video leaked of amy winehouse’s death!!! Warning: Graphical Content
If you click on any of these, you will be taken to a website and asked to complete a survey before you can see the actual video…there is no video. You should never complete a survey on Facebook to unlock a video or any other content. These are tricks used by people to spread viruses, obtain your personal information or earn commissions from Internet marketing companies. With Facebook having over 750 million users, this is a very good opportunity for these people to make money. If you come across this scam, just delete it from your Facebook news feed or wall.
